In Smash + Grab teams compete for loot, weapons, and reputation. The objective of each match is to grab $50,000 in goods from the shopping district (that the match is taking in), or by lifting it from the opposing team. Each match is 15 minutes and gives players the opportunity to raid progressively bigger stores, and unlock new modes, perks and clothes. Additionally, you will be able to customize your loadout and look of your gang members. The way the gameplay unfolds often urges players to partake in creative methods and tactical teamwork if they want to win.
The rapid-fire match layout and the fast-paced gameplay is set to hit Early Access sometime this September. The Early Access build will come with two multiplayer maps and modes, as well as an offline practice mode.
PC is the only confirmed platform at the moment
“Smash + Grab combines our love of competitive online games with our expertise in action mechanics and hand-to-hand combat, sharpened during our development of Sleeping Dogs,” said UFG CEO Stephen Van Der Mescht. “The playtesting rivalries got pretty intense in the studio during development, and we hope to see the same reaction on a bigger scale with Smash + Grab’s Early Access launch.”
