It has been revealed the game won’t have any loading screens as the character traverses from one place to another in the game’s open-world, but rather will have a seamless, loading free experience.
The news comes from an interview with IGN and one of the game’s developers Toshihiro Nagoshi, where Nagoshi said, “We’ve worked hard to make this game completely seamless. You can engage in the central adventure, get into battles, watch drama scenes, and go back to the adventure, all without any loading screens. Go into any building or any room or any floor without loading.”
Though it’s not all good news — or at least for gamers still playing on the ol’ PlayStation 3, which is many in Japan. As Nagoshi also confirmed there will be loading screens in the PS3 version.
Yakuza 6 is out on PS3 and PS4 on December 8th, 2016. A western release has not yet been confirmed, but given the fact the other recent games in the series have, it’s expected this one will eventually as well.
I need this game. Sega bring me this game.
