With the release of Gears of War 4 comes an onslaught of merchandise to buy, including McFarlane Toys’ new Color Tops action figures — and one of them has just been fully unveiled through final production photos.

This sculpted representation of protagonist JD Fenix looks fantastic, featuring accurately detailed COG armor, clothing with realistic folds, and a meticulously recreated Lancer assault rifle. It also includes a code for some in-game goodies, and that’s a great bonus for fans.

A new saga begins for one of the most acclaimed video game franchises in history. After narrowly escaping an attack on their village, JD Fenix and his friends, Kait and Del, must rescue the ones they love and discover the source of a monstrous new enemy.

JD Fenix, a brand NEW character to the Gears of War universe stands 7 inches tall and comes equipped with customized Lancer Assault rifle and Snub Pistol sidearm. Figure includes one Gears of War 4 “Operational Pack”; a downloadable code for unlocking spectacular in-game content, available October 11th on Xbox One Game Launch. Stylized display base included.

Releasing as part of the Color Tops Blue Wave, JD is set to release later this month and can be pre-ordered directly from the McFarlane Toys store for $17.99.

My Opinion:

This thing will look great alongside my other Gears of War collectibles,even if I don’t plan on buying the new game until a sale happens.
