Fans of the Norse-inspired, hand-drawn title, Jotun, can now anticipate a new title from the game’s acclaimed developer.

Sundered, the newest title by Thunder Lotus Games, will begin its Kickstarter campaign on January 16, 2017, with a release window of July 2017 to follow.

Self-advertised as a metroidvania experience, Sundered promises the hand-drawn animation that fans have come to expect from the developer. This time, Thunder Lotus Games is tackling the dangerous dungeons of eldritch horrors and asks whether players will resist or embrace the corruption within.

My Opinion:

I never played Jotun, but the art style always intrigued me. With the eldritch setting of this newest game, I may be tempted enough to pick this one up in July. Here’s hoping the Kickstarter campaign is as solid as it was for Jotun.
