Earlier this evening, Nintendo announced that there will be a new version of the 2DS.

This New Nintendo 2DS will have all the same features as the New Nintendo 3DS including a much bigger screen compared to the original 2DS, but as the name suggests, it won’t have the 3D. Unlike the New Nintendo 3DS, however, it will come with a 4GB Micro Card and a AC adapter.

The New Nintendo 2DS XL will arrive on July 28th for $149.99.

My Opinion:

This is the one I want. I did have a 3DS for a time and had a good time with it. Since I don’t care about 3D and this will have all the features of the New 3DS, this is perfect for me. I would love to pick this up along with Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse.
