Reveling in the 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy, Square Enix has released a new story trailer for Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age. 

An HD Remaster of the PlayStation 2 classic, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age takes place in the world of Ivalice, where a war between empires places a small kingdom squarely in the middle. The trailer showcases the 2006 remastered game with escalating conflict as well as key characters paramount in the rising resistance. Playing as the presumed dead princess of the shattered kingdom and her allies, players must gather its shattered remains and expel the increasingly unhinged Archadian empire.

Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age releases on July 11, 2017 in North America for PlayStation 4.

My Opinion:
I have a major blind spot for the Final Fantasy series past Final Fantasy III. For some reason, I’m getting some major Star Wars vibes relating to the story (yes, I know it’s strange), which has me even more excited. I can’t wait to pick this up and start delving into this sleeper hit to help broaden my Final Fantasy knowledge.
