Developer Thunder Lotus Games is back with another hand-drawn animated epic. The team behind Jotun, returns with Sundered releasing July 28th on PlayStation 4 and PC.

Sundered features some of the same elements that made Jotun stand out: gorgeous animation, massive boss fights, and a deep sense of scale. Sundered centers on Eshe, ” ..a wanderer in a ruined world, trapped in ever-changing caverns filled with hordes of terrifying enemies.” In order to escape, Eshe must struggle with holding on to her humanity.

Power comes with a cost. While Eshe can gain new abilities and power, she must sacrifice a part of what makes her human to do so. Check out the launch trailer below and decide if you will resist or embrace.

 

 

My Opinion:

Man this game looks great. Much like Vanillaware, Thunder Lotus Games is a developer who continues to amaze me with its animation talent.
