It’s no doubt Spider-Man is one of the most popular superheroes of all time. Delivering a game based on everyone’s favorite webslinger comes with many challenges and Insomniac discusses them in a new video for Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Insomniac places a major focus on storytelling and Spider-Man will look at the balance of being Peter Parker and Spider-Man. In the game Spider-Man is 23 years old and an eight-year veteran. Such experience allows him to be an “acrobatic improvisor”, utilizing not only his powers but his environment as well to take out enemies.

In addition to bringing less familiar enemies like Mr. Negative to the table, Insomniac wants to capture big, spectacular moments witnessed in the pages of comic books. Check out the inside look video below to see a small taste of what’s in store.

 

 

My Opinion:

A lot of the footage shown was seen during Sony’s E3 2017 Conference, but I continue to impressed by it. I really like the different ways Spidey can interact with the environment to take out enemies.
