Glory to Mankind- NieR: Automata has achieved a new sales milestone. Square Enix announced the game has exceeded two million copies, a figure comprised of worldwide shipments and digital sales.

NieR: Automata previous sales milestone was back in May when it reached the 1.5 million mark. Since launching in February of this year, NieR: Automata has become a big success for Platinum Games helping to turnaround the fortunes of the company. Not to mention the endless amount of cosplay it has produced for 2b.

My Opinion:

It’s good to see a game that easily could have fallen into cult status achieve something more. Besides playing the demo, I have yet to fully dive into NieR. However, there is a PS4 copy on my bookshelf waiting for me to crack it open.
