After years of fans begging to create their own Z-Fighter  in a Dragon ball Z game, Bandai Namco is giving us what we want!.  With the recent release of a teaser video for the new fighting game, many fans of the series saw a character that was not originally part of the Dragon Ball lore.  This is because it was a created character, with the features chosen by the player.  At the end of the teaser, we saw this red-haired individual sporting a Capsule Corp. jacket.

The story in Dragon Ball Xenoverse begins in Toki Toki City, where your created character is summoned by Trunks to this futuristic town for an unknown secret mission.  He tests you in Toki Toki City, along with other potential fighters.

Xenoverse brings us new animation to the Dragon Ball game franchise.  The cel shading looks better than ever, with high-definition facial expressions.  Many characters from Dragon Ball  show up for this new story such as Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and the other fighters associated with Capsule Corp. and their families.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be available for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.  The release date for this title is still unknown at this time.

My Opinion:

I was really impressed by the looks of the first trailer. I have always enjoyed the Dragon Ball games and will likely pick this one up as well.  I am most excited for the new story mode, and playing as a character to my personal liking.  Thank you Bandai Namco for making me smile!
