Bethesda confirmed yesterday to GamingBolt that Wolfenstein: The New Order will be running at 1080p and 60 fps on not only the Playstation 4, but on the Xbox One as well.
There was a concern that the Xbox One version of the game would lack a higher resolution than the Playstation 4, but Bethesda simply responded with, “The Xbox One version of Wolfenstein will run at 1080p/60 fps.”
Wolfenstein: The New Order is being made by MachineGames and is being released in North America May 22 on PS4, PS3, XB1, XB360, and PC.

My Opinion:
This type of news story has become pretty common since the launch of the new consoles. Yet, what makes this one interesting is the fact that it does show to a certain degree that the Xbox One can have graphical parity with the Playstation 4. Both systems are running very similar hardware so this really should come as no surprise to anyone. Regardless, if Microsoft can get the games on its system on par with Sony’s, it can only help them in the long run in the public eye.
