Halo Collection May Be Coming To Xbox One

A Halo collection may be heading to the Xbox One later this year. The collection, which is set to be named Halo: The Master Chief Collection, is expected to include: Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4.

Sources close to Engadget have claimed that the release is aimed at refreshing the player’s memory of Master Chief’s journey. Hence, the reason why Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach are not set to be apart of The Master Chief Collection.

This follows the news that Halo 5: Guardians will release in the fall of 2015 alongside with the Halo Television series. Microsoft also released the first concept art for Halo 5: Guardians.

My Opinion:

I really hope this is true! I have sadly never played any of the Halo games. The main reason was because I couldn’t get into a series without playing all the games. I was unable to play Halo 1 and Halo 2 due to not having an original Xbox, so I never bothered with the series. However, if this was released for the Xbox One then I would definitely get it as I have been wanting to see what all the fuss is about.
