Gonna shake things up this week and actually play video games. Thinking about grabbing Transistor or whatever that new SuperGiant game is called. Think that’s the right studio too…Steam will let me know before I purchase. Otherwise, probably a bit of Halo 4 tomorrow after work.

 

Shawn Richards, Editor:

Can’t talk much. I have currently become addicted to Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD. Amazing game, but I am starting to get some serious withdrawal symptoms. Hear about my random thoughts and antics through my Twitter @LittleBigHamm

If I get a moment away from work this weekend it will most likely be spent playing some Path of Exile.  I am slowly attempting to get a character to 100, though the frustration of constant death is a hell of a de-motivator, especially when you lose experience for it.

All I’ve been playing is The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. I think I’m about about half way through. Still having fun, collecting all the pieces of heart and what not. I will be working on Music And Ridiculous Indie Originals Knives And Redundant Tables… 8.

I will also be recording part 2 of my Civ 5 Let’s Play. Oh, and look forward to my streaming of Heavy Bullets in prep for that Let’s Play as well. Hopefully I can figure out how to use my microphone without hearing too much ambient noise. Look for me on twitch at Guy105. I will upload all of this footage on my YouTube channel. I currently rate my channels as a 3.2 on the MONG review scale.

Lately I’ve been trying to make my way through some of my backlog before I go and pick up Wolfenstein: The New Order and Watch Dogs. Last weekend I finished up GTA V and Infamous: Second Son. I even got my first platinum in the latter. This weekend I’m going to finish up Hitman: Absolution and Bioshock. I might even try to platinum the latter since I’m on a roll. This weekend I’ll be finishing up my comic book collage thing and maybe you guys will see the fruits of my labor sometime next week. Aside from that, I just reloaded Guild Wars 2 onto my PC; so I’ll be diving back into the world of Tyria. But really though, nothing else is going on in my life this weekend. I’m a pretty boring person. Go team.

I will be clearing more of my backlog by trying to knock out Borderlands 2 and possibly BioShock 1 & 2. Don’t hold me to those last two games, but I’ll definitely be playing Borderlands 2.

 

Landon Luthi, Editor:

I did a midnight purchase of Mario Kart and my swear jar is overflowing already.  While I plan on doing a LOT of Mario Kart this weekend, I will likely end up breaking a lot of crap that is within arms distance from me.
