NBA Live 15 Release Date Announced

EA Sports has revealed that NBA Live 15 will be released on October 7th, which is the same day as it rival, NBA 2K15.

The news was revealed by Sean O’Brien, the Executive Producer for NBA Live 15, in an open letter to fans of the series. In the open letter, O’Brien stated that he was aware that fans were not satisfied with the previous installment in the series, NBA Live 14, and reassured fans that NBA Live 15 will be a vast improvement over NBA 14 especially with gameplay and graphics.

O’Brien stated that the majority of the league was scanned, and that combined with refined player models and lighting effects, it make the characters look “really amazing”.

In terms of gameplay, O’Brien stated that the team had been talking to NBA coaches to better understand their schemes and philosophies, which can then be implemented in the game for a more realistic feel. He also said that the flow and responsiveness of the game had greatly improved from NBA Live 14.

More gameplay details will be released in July. NBA Live 15 will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 7, 2014.

My Opinion:

Well, I’ll have to wait to see if NBA Live 15 is an improvement from NBA Live 14. I can only hope that it is, so there is more competition for 2K.
