Sony announced that PlayStation TV, originally called Vita TV in Japan, will come to North America and Europe this Fall.
PlayStation TV will support PlayStation Now, Vita games, and PS1/PSP classics. With all of those combined, PSTV owners will have access to over 1000 games.
It will launch with the following two SKUs this Fall:
- $99 standalone
- Just includes the PlayStation TV device
- $139 bundle
- PlayStation TV device
- DualShock 3
- 8GB of memory
- HDMI Cable
- Digital Voucher for TheLego Movie Videogame for Vita
My Opinion:
I am glad to see that it is finally coming to the west! I knew when it was announced that it was only a matter of time before it would make its way over here. It really seems like a game changer and perfect for the PlayStation Now service. I can’t wait to try one out!
