Dennis Lee, global brand manager for the Tales series, announced yesterday on the Bandai Namco Games YouTube channel (still titled NamcoBandaiGames) that Tales of Zestiria will be released worldwide in the same year.  

Lee was asked if the Tales development team listens to fan requests, and he responded that they do in fact, and one of the most requested things is hurrying up the process of localization.  After which, he announced that Tales of Zestiria will be released in the West during the same year as it is in Japan.

Tales of Zestiria is scheduled for release exclusively on PlayStation 3 in 2015.

My Opinion:

This is not necessarily new news, but it does clarify things.  When Tales of Zestiria was originally announced last December, they announced it as a worldwide release.  If you actually consider what that means, it sounds like it means that it will be released either at the same time or very close to each other.  As I’ve said many times before, I am a huge Tales fan, so I cannot wait to see this released!
