Respawn Entertainment has released information on Update Four for Titanfall.  This free update will feature new burn cards, insignias, improved matchmaking, and a new game mode!

This patch will bring an update to matchmaking.  Respawn is working to rebalance the teams before each match.  In doing this, they hope to have more competitive matches.  Along with this they are working on bug fixes, weapon rebalancing and decreased damage to satchel charges. YES! THANK YOU!  Nothing made me scream at the screen more than eating a satchel charge.

In addition, fourteen titan burn cards are being added to the mix, including an amped up electric smoke and a new vortex shield.  Also,  “Emblems” are being added that can be obtained by completing challenges.  There will also be new voices for the titans!

For a limited time Titanfall will introduce two game modes,  starting with “Marked for Death” followed by “Wingman Last Titan Standing”.  “Marked for Death” was shown at E3 2014 and those who played it were impressed.

There are also plenty of other minor updates coming with update four, a challenge tracker, better auto-titan AI,  and burn card overflow protection.  There will also be achievements added to the Expedition DLC.

There is no release date for Titanfall update four, but Respawn assures us that it will be here soon.  Happy Titan hunting!

My Opinion:

I really enjoy this game and I’m very happy to see it getting support.  I understand MP wasn’t up to par with other current games but I see Respawn making an effort to improve this.  The idea of ground units & mechs fighting was genius & I look forward to more.  Maybe in the next patch they will add CLAN support!
