Another World, originally expected to release on all Sony platforms yesterday, is now available on the Xbox One.

Sony announced last week that Another World is coming to the PlayStation Network on June 25th, however the game appears to have been delayed.

Eric Chahi’s adventure platformer game is a remake of Out of This World, originally released in 1991.  The game’s graphics and style have been updated, however players will be able to switch between the two graphic styles.

The cult classic is now available for $7.99 on Xbox One, Wii U, and 3DS; or expect to see it soon on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.

My Opinion:

It is strange that Another World missed its June 25th release for Sony platforms, yet it came to the Xbox One even though Microsoft never announced the release date for it.  It would be easy to say that Microsoft had something to do this, however I think that something happened on Sony’s end.  Nevertheless, this is good news Xbox One owners.
