LittleBigPlanet 3 is Going Into Beta and You’re (Probably) Not Getting In

Sumo Digital’s LittleBigPlanet 3 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 is heading into Private Beta in August; however, don’t get your hopes up — you most likely aren’t getting in.

News comes by way of LittleBigPlanet Central, a community fansite, who states they will be giving out small amounts of voucher codes to “community creators”. This, of course, isn’t limited to LittleBigPlanet Central — other community creators outside of LBPC will be invited to the Private Beta, according to LittleBigPlanet’s Community Manager Steven Isbell.

So unless you have some insider connections or create major LittleBigPlanet content, don’t get your hopes up — you are going to have to wait for the November 2014 release like everyone else.

My Opinion:

I’ve never been the biggest fan of the LittleBigPlanet series, but opening the Beta to content creators is a fantastic idea. Nobody else will test the limits of the game more than these LBP fanatics! Congrats to everyone that makes it in — meanwhile, my Fall lineup is as filled up as it gets.
