Bravely Default Sales Reach 1 Million

Square Enix’s 3DS JRPG, Bravely Default, has reach 1 million sales according to Dengeki Online.

Bravely Default was released in October 2013 in Japan and has sold over 400,000 copies there.  It was then released in December 2013 in Europe and this February in North America, where it has sold over 600,000 copies combined.

In March we reported that Square Enix will be focusing on JRPG’s after the success of Bravely Default. The sequel, Bravely Second, is currently slated for a 2014 release date in Japan with no official word about a release in North America.

My Opinion:

I’m still playing Bravely Default and it’s a good game. It certainly deserves to sell well. It’s not without fault (no pun intended) but I will certainly play the sequel whenever it’s released.
