Konami To Show Off Games At Gamescom

Konami revealed the lineup of their 2014 Gamescom presence and they promise that the games will advance the anticipation. This year’s Gamescom will take place on August 13th in Cologne, Germany. This will be the sixth Gamecom since 2009 and it has been growing larger ever since.

The first game is PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) 2015. Konami will have a playable demo on the show floor to show. PES 2015 is the latest soccer game from Konami and it is one of the most popular soccer video game franchises in the world. PES 2015 will be the second game in the franchise to use the Fox Engine, with the first game being PES 2014. The newest game in the franchise, PES 2015, will be released somewhere between Fall and Winter of 2014 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

The other game is Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Konami promises that they will show the size and the ambition Hideo Kojima has in the next game in the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Expect a new trailer or new gameplay footage to be revealed. A release date has yet to be announced. There was a potential release date, but Konami and Kojima Production had said nothing on the matter.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

My Opinion:

I hope that what they will reveal for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be a release date. I’ve been waiting for a long time for this game to come out and the amazing Ground Zeroes didn’t help that wait. It made it worse. From what I’ve seen The Phantom Pain will be even better than Ground Zeroes and I hope that the wait is closer to the end.
