Phoenix Wright is one of the key franchises in the Nintendo handheld family. The first game in the franchise was Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney for the Gameboy Advance in 2001. In 2005, it was re-released for the Nintendo DS, and since then it has gained a loyal following. The next game in the series will pair up with another franchise in a new game called Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney coming August 29th for Nintendo 3DS in North America.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies for the iOS arrives either late 2014 or early 2015, and you can download a demo of the game on the 3DS.
I only played the 3DS demo of Dual Destinies and I had a lot of fun with it. I don’t know if I’ll ever download the iOS version, but it could allow others that don’t have a 3DS to play a Phoenix Wright game.
