The hype just keeps building when it comes to Destiny. It’s like a freight train that just keeps building speed. You might think I’m exaggerating, but considering that Destiny has become the most pre-ordered new IP of all time, I think people agree. Don’t get complacent, that’s not the only information that Bungie brought with them to Gamescom.

Beyond that little bit of info that speaks so well for Destiny’s future, Bungie also showed off a new trailer which gives us a few more details on the different multiplayer modes accessible through the crucible! Therein we can find so many fun ways to kill other players, such as:

• Control – The mode anyone who played the Alpha or Beta is acquainted with in which you capture points and defend them from your enemies
• Skirmish –  Small team tactics, kill the enemy and keep your buddies alive
• Rumble – Sounds like this is lone wolf, if we’re using Halo comparisons
• Clash – Team Deathmatch, wreck your enemy’s faces
• Salvage – Kill your enemies while snagging relics and keeping your bros in the fight
• Combined Arms – A more vehicle focused Team Deathmatch, splatter time
• Iron Banner – Take out all of the stops and go H.A.M., earn some fancy gear

Don’t worry, your fun doesn’t end there if you’re a PlayStation loyalist. Bungie also announced that Destiny’s first DLC, “The Dark Below,” will be launching in December for Sony consoles!

My Opinion:

Need I really say anything? By now everyone knows what I think about Destiny. It’s my game and I’m gonna love pretty much anything that Bungie tells us about it. Plus, I got the Ghost edition, so that DLC is gonna be so beautifully free for me.
