Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s Jim Ryan, announced that the PlayStation 4 has sold over 10 million units at Sony’s Gamescom press conference.

Jim Ryan then went on to clarify that the PlayStation 4 has sold over 10 million units to customers, and not to retailers.

Last time we heard how many units the PlayStation 4 had sold was in April, and it had past the 7 million mark.

My Opinion:

Well, I’m just amazed! Considering a little over a year ago people were claiming that console gaming was “dead” this just proves that it is in fact far from it! Brilliant for Sony and great for gamers and the industry!
