Earlier today, WB Games announced details about the season pass for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. While the season pass was revealed, there are few details missing.
If you choose to get the season pass, you’ll receive the following: A new Warband mission called Guardians of the Flaming Eye, Trails of the War missions, Lord of the Hunt beast-hunting missions, and the Bright Lord story missions.
WB Games also hinted at future content, however, what those are will be unknown. what is also a mystery is how this Season Pass will be handled. Will paying for the season pass net you the DLC at no extra charge, or will you pay the season pass and get a discount of the DLC.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor releases for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 on September 30th.
My Opinion:
Another game, another season pass. I’ve only bought one season pass so far and that was The Last of Us, — which was because I trusted Naughty Dog, and that trust hasn’t faltered yet. I doubt that WB Games will do what Naughty Dog did and grant us the DLC at no extra charge. I’m excited for the game, but I don’t trust them enough to give them any extra of my money.
