A Pro-Bending mode was announced for The Legend of Korra video game, along with the release date and box art.
The Pro-Bending mode is a competitive single-player mode based on the sport featured in The Legend of Korra animated series. The mode is unlocked upon completing the story, and it pits two teams of three benders (each controlling a different element) against each other as they fight for territory on a small floating arena.
The third person action game was announced earlier this summer alongside The Legend of Korra: A New Era Begins, a strategy role-playing game for Nintendo 3DS.
The Legend of Korra game by Platinum Games was rated T by the ESRB, while the 3DS game was rated E10+.
The Legend of Korra is set to launch on October 21st for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC, and October 22nd for Xbox One and Xbox 360. While The Legend of Korra: A New Era Begins is expected October 28th.
The Pro-Bending mode looks like a really cool addition, however it sounds like it will be a single-player only experience. I know Platinum Games and Activision already said multiple times that The Legend of Korra on consoles is a single player game, but Pro-Bending looks like it would thrive with a 3v3 multiplayer option.
