The next entry in Tamsoft and XSEED’s Senran Kagura series has received an official release date, according to Gematsu.
Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus, the action series’ first title on the Vita and the second title to be released outside of Japan, will launch on October 14th in North America and October 15th in Europe. Compared to its predecessor Senran Kagura Burst, this game features a revamped 3D combat system and an expanded cast of playable characters. However, the series’ staple focus on over-the-top special attacks and equally over-the-top clothing damage remain. For more information, see our original story on the announcement of the localized version.

This game is one of the reasons I bought a Vita, so I’m definitely looking forward to finally playing it. The original game had so much more quality and depth to it than indicated by its bouncy exterior, and I’m expecting the same from this title.
