Earlier this week, Microsoft unveiled an Xbox One controller specifically for the PC.
The controller is functionally identical to the original Xbox One controller. The product description reads much like the description for the original controller, except for specific mentions of Windows:
Experience the action like never before with the Xbox One Controller + Cable for Windows. Redesigned thumbsticks and an all new D-pad provide greater precision. Enjoy the reliable wired connection to your PC – and forget about replacing batteries. The Xbox One Controller + Cable for Windows can be used as wired or wireless on your Xbox One.
My Opinion:
I’m glad that the Xbox One controller is getting more PC friendly. I really enjoy it, and developments like this and the drivers being released earlier in the year cement this controller as a PC gaming accessory.
