Destiny Loot Cave Is No More

Destiny Loot Cave Is No More

Within a week after the launch of the highly acclaimed game Destiny, players found an exploit that enable them to farm for loot known as the “Treasure Cave”. It has become a very popular spot in Destiny.  Located on Earth’s Old Russia, this cave had a very fast monster respawn time, and players would stand close by, shooting into it to farm it for hours hoping for rare or exotic gear to drop.

My Opinion:

We knew this wasn’t going to last forever.  It was an exploit and those never last.  I’m shocked it lasted this long to be honest.  I’ll admit, I visited the Treasure Cave a few times but never got anything out of it.  It seemed like a waste of time to me.  Much of the end game focuses on The Crucible anyway,  and you’re not going to get better at PVP by shooting into a cave… The game is super fun; I didn’t think I was going to get into it like I have (spending six hours a night on the damn thing).  I look forward to where Destiny takes us.
