4J Studios, the team handling Minecraft PlayStation Vita, tweeted that it has been passed off to Sony for final testing and certification.
An exact release date has not been given yet, but this is a good sign that it should be available soon.
Minecraft for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One hit digital storefronts last month for $19.99, or $4.99 for those who purchased it on a last-gen console. A retail version for PlayStation 4 is also on its way.
Those who purchased Minecraft for the PlayStation 3 will be able to pick up the PlayStation Vita version for free.
My Opinion:
My Minecraft days are long gone; however, it is tempting to jump back in for a Vita version. It would be nice if PlayStation 4 owners could also get Minecraft on their PlayStation Vitas as well, but 4J Studios needs to make money off of this somehow.
