The sales of Wasteland 2 suggest that post apocalyptic worlds have never been more popular! Only four days after release, Wasteland 2 has made $1.5 million in sales.
News comes by way of a press release from developer inXile Entertainment. Two days earlier inXile’s founder, Brian Fargo, had tweeted about $1 million in sales:
Wasteland 2, the long-awaited sequel to Fallout’s predecessor, is available on PC. Check out MONG’s review of the post-apocalyptic adventure to find out whether you can survive without it.
My Opinion:
Congrats inXile! This is a huge victory for a series that has been dead for nearly 16 years! I haven’t had time to download it, but don’t be surprised if Wasteland 2 has another $40 by the end of the week.
