Hours ago, the Pokémon Company announced that they will be offering yet another Pokémon giveaway for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. This time, it will be in honor of Halloween.

Pumpkaboo, the Ghost- and Grass-type Pokémon, is currently available on the Nintendo Network for the entire month of October. The “Super Size” Pumpkaboo (which is very rare in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y) will include attacks like Scary Face and Trick-or-Treat, in addition to holding Rocky Helmet.

This giveaway is in addition to the Shiny Gengar and Diancie that will be occurring this month by obtaining a unique code from participating GameStop stores.

My Opinion:
This is a cute little giveaway. The Pokémon Company is playing this very smart since they still want to remain relevant in the months leading up to the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. Who wouldn’t want a free Pokémon?
