Nintendo recently revealed that they are going to incorporate themes into the Nintendo 3DS system back in August. Now, Nintendo has revealed that themes that are coming to Japan first. This will change the UI, sound effects, and backgrounds. The themes will cost between 100 to 200 yen, which is the United States equivalent of $1 to $2 each.

The YouTube Channel GameXplain has a video showing off what these themes will look like. It’s unknown if these themes will come to North America, but I think they will. Some of the game based themes will change the icons, background, and sound effects of the system.
My Opinion:
I lucked out on getting the Persona Q 3DS, so I hope they release a Persona Q theme for the 3DS shortly after the themes arrive in the States, or when the game is released. Except for Persona Q, I can’t see myself buying any more themes unless it’s something worth getting.
