CD Projekt Red has released a few new screenshots for their next game in The Witcher series, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set sometime after the events of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. It is the final part of The Witcher Trilogy, which started with The Witcher on PC. As the world moves on, a new force is rising and it’s up to Geralt of Rivia to try to stop them. The force, called Wild Hunt, is also after something from Geralt’s past.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 24, 2015.

My Opinion:

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of my most anticipated games of next year. Even though I know these are PC screenshots, I still can’t wait to see what the PlayStation 4 version will look like. I never played The Witcher or The Witcher 2, so I hope they will give us a summary of both games beforehand, so that PlayStation owners (Xbox 360 and PC had The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings) that never played a Witcher game before can know some of the background information.
