Sakurai teases with new Smash Bros. content

Masahiro Sakurai is teasing us again with an image that appears to be a new play mode for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

Sakurai is playing coy again with this new morsel he posted on Miiverse last night asking “Now, what mode is this…?!”  The image includes two popular bosses from Smash Bros. lore.  The Master Hand and the Crazy Hand. The inclusion of these two might suggest that this could be some sort of an endgame encounter.

You can expect to try these new modes on November 21st this year in the U.S. and on December 5th for Europe.  Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS debuted in the U.S. on October 3rd and has sold 2.8 million copies worldwide one week earlier.

My Opinion:

My personal guess is that these two new modes will be similar to Cruel Smash.  However, I think it will be an infinite battle with either the Master Hand or the Crazy Hand at different speeds and difficulties for extra coins.  Let me know what you think it is in the comments below.
