Microsoft released info on the November update for Xbox One. The update will add custom backgrounds, improved media features, and a more streamlined marketplace.
As for the custom backgrounds, players will have the ability to change the color, use unlocked achievement art, or use an uploaded image.
A new section will also be added to user interface called “What’s On.” This section will showcase popular TV shows, YouTube videos, and movies. The “What’s On” section will be in between the friends and the store tab.
The update will also include Twitter connectivity. Owners will be able to Tweet about their game clips from their Xbox One.
The update is now available for Xbox One Preview members, and it’s coming to everyone at an unannounced date this November. For all the added features check out Major Nelson’s blog.
My Opinion:
It is great to see how much the Xbox One has changed over the past year, and it’s even better to see that the Xbox team is working to constantly improve the interface.

I’m really looking forward to this one. Backgrounds are ultimately a trivial feature, but I’ve missed them since migrating from my 360.

Right? I used to have an awesome KU Football background on my 360. I miss that.
