Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Makes its Way Onto iTunes

For those of you looking for epic background music in your mundane lives, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor’s official soundtrack has been released on iTunes.

If this has piqued your interest, the soundtrack will contain 47 epic tracks with some of the best composers from the BioShock and F.E.A.R. series. Not only that, but the price is insanely reasonable at $9.99.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor released on September 30th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and will be coming out on November 18th for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Generally being released to high scores, MONG believes that “Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is not a title to be missed this holiday season.” Make sure to check out the full MONG review of this instant Tolkien classic.

My Opinion:

There is nothing that brightens a day quite like epic battle music blazing through the headphones. While I still haven’t had a swing at Middle-earth, I love the idea of video game soundtracks having iTunes releases. There is a huge audience for this music and the composers spend countless hours arranging the tracks. I may even pick up this soundtrack anyway.

Lou Contaldi is MONG’s Executive Editor. In his off time, he enjoys being aggressively mediocre at Hearthstone. You can follow his incoherent ramblings at Twitter.
