Telltale’s Two Big Upcomers Playable at PlayStation Experience

No more than one hour ago, PlayStation sent out a tweet (seen below) showing off a new trailer for Telltale Games’ Tales from the Borderlands.  The tweet also detailed that both their Borderlands title and Game of Thrones would be playable at the PlayStation Experience

To our collective knowledge, this would be the first time that both Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones will be playable for the public.

The PlayStation Experience will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on December 6th – 7th.

My Opinion:

This is actually huge.  PlayStation has been the more reserved between themselves and Xbox One about coming out with exclusive reasons to pick up the console.  Yet, the platform still continues to maintain a strong lead in sales versus its competitor.  I don’t believe that this means Sony does not have a slew of games in development, in their back pocket, just waiting to be shown.  I think they do, and it’s likely at the very least one will be shown at the PlayStation Experience, but such games will not be playable for the console any time soon.  Thereby, making it all the more important to show off how good games like Tales from the Borderlands, and Game of Thrones will look, to the public.  Both games have shown promise thus far and could build upon said promise showing themselves off for anyone who would want to play the pair. This is a very smart event, and great PR for the already heavy hitting console family.
