Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, the prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, is coming to PC, and the Steam Store page has revealed the suggested system requirements.
The requirements are as follows:
Minimum Requirements:
- OS: Windows Vista 64-Bit or later
- Processor: Core i5 SandyBridge 4Core (4 Thread) 2.7GHz or above
- Memory: 4 GB RAM or above
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 650 or above
- DirectX: Version 11 or above
Recommended Specifications:
- OS: Windows Vista 64-Bit or later
- Processor: Core i5 SandyBridge 4Core (4 Thread) 2.7GHz or above
- Memory: 8 GB RAM or above
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 760 or above
- DirectX: Version 11 or above
Konami has revealed that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is 4K compatible, has better lighting, and has more models than the console versions. The downside is that the game is locked at 60fps. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be released for PC on December 18th.
My Opinions:
I already have Ground Zeroes on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 and it’s a great game. Having said that, because of the length, wait for a Steam sale. Unless you are a die hard Metal Gear Solid fan, it’s best to wait. Especially since The Phantom Pain is coming sometime next year.

I find it hard to pay for something that’s not much more than a DEMO. I haven’t played it yet but I can’t wait for Phantom Pain.
