Telltale’s adaptation of Game of Thrones may be out sooner than you think.

Today, the episodic game series was made available for pre-purchase on Steam with a 10% discount to those who buy it in advance on Valve’s game distribution platform.

The specifications for Mac and PC were also revealed on the game’s product page:

Mac OS X Minimum Requirements

• OS: Snow Leopard (10.6.X)
• Processor: 2.3 Ghz Intel
• Memory: 4 GB RAM
• Graphics: 512 MB Nvidia or ATI graphics card
• Hard Drive: 3 GB of hard drive space

Windows Minimum Requirements

• OS: Windows XP Service Pack 3
• Processor: Core 2 Duo 2GHz or equivalent
• Memory: 3 GB RAM
• Graphics: ATI or NVIDIA card w/512 MB RAM
• DirectX: Version 9.0
• Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c sound device

Last week Telltale released their first in game trailer showing off some characters as well as the look of the game.

While the exact release date has not been announced yet, players can expect to see Telltale’s Game of Thrones later this year on PC, Mac, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and iOS.

My Opinion:

Telltale’s Game of Thrones is getting closer and closer every minute.  I think we will see the first episode within the first week or two of December.
