The Legend of Zelda Wii U and Star Fox Wii U Will Have Amiibo Support

Shigeru Miyamoto revealed in a recent interview that The Legend of Zelda Wii U (Working Title) and Star Fox Wii U (Working Title) will have Amiibo Support.

Shigeru Miyamoto was interviewed by YouTuber iJustine about:

Furthermore, he also talked about Amiibo and how they’ll work with The Legend of Zelda Wii U and Star Fox Wii U.

When asked by iJustine:

“How do you see the Amiibos integrating into possibly [The Legend of] Zelda or Star Fox or is that something we haven’t talked about yet?”

Miyamoto said:

“I can’t really say just yet.”

“But we do plan on doing something so that people who have Amiibos will get some enjoyment out of having Amiibo and using them in those games.”

iJustine did comment on how she loved the Amiibo support in Mario Kart 8 but Miyamoto did not comment.

My Opinion:

I’m not surprised that there will be Amiibo support for The Legend of Zelda Wii U or Star Fox Wii U. However, I’m glad it will be quite subtle because while I like Amiibo, I don’t want to feel like I have to own them to get the most out of my games.
