Capcom has released the opening cinematic trailer for Resident Evil: Revelations 2, the next promising entry in the Resident Evil franchise.
It opens with a very tongue in cheek commercial extolling the virtues of human rights organization TerraSave, while slinging some propaganda at the evils of bioterrorism. What comes next is a TerraSave office party which quickly devolves by way of Die Hard. You can watch the entire video below.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will release episodically in 2015 with the first chapter coming February 17th for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
My Opinion:
I really enjoyed the opening trailer for Resident Evil: Revelations 2. It clearly has a sense of humor, and the trailer ends at a nice cliffhanger. The idea of it being episodic is also intriguing as it may make it something I can play a little bit at a time in between other games in 2015. While I haven’t played Resident Evil: Revelations, I may very well have to, so I can fully enjoy RE: R2 in 2015.
