Developer Nippon Ichi Software has gifted us a six-minute trailer for their upcoming strategy RPG, Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance.

The trailer shows off some of the game’s new characters and mechanics, including a new ability called “revenge mode” that allows a character to enter a powered-up state when they take enough damage. Battles are going to be much larger in scale than they have been in past Disgaea games. We see some new character classes and enemies, and some slick anime cutscenes to top it all off. Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive, releasing in North America and Europe during Fall 2015.

My Opinion:

This game is looking pretty good! Disgaea is a fun series, and it’s cool that the battles will be larger this time around. There are also a lot of rabbits, and rabbits make everything better. Definitely looking forward to training my party up to level 9999 again!
