So, I have a funny story. Do you remember all of those times on the MONG Podcast when I said that I would never play Minecraft? Yeah, me too. And do you remember all of the times I explained why? As you’ve probably guessed by now, I started playing Minecraft this week, and I am absolutely addicted to it. I started building a random castle in the sky with a few friends and I can’t stop going back to add more to it. It has become an obsession that has taken over my gaming life. Here I was, wanting to beat Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix HD this week, but nooooo. Anyways, I’ve been livestreaming every time I play so you might catch me on during the evenings at http://www.twitch.tv/osborn2009. Here are a few pics of some of the progress we have made on the castle.
Jesse Webster, Senior Writer:
I think I’m just going to play Persona 4. I would like to play Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne or Digital Devil Saga Complete, but I need Persona 4 out of my system first.
Adam Leonard, Associate Writer:
I’m still pushing my way through Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, so I’ll be definitely focusing on that. I will likely also be playing Dragon Age: Inquisition, and perhaps even start Wasteland 2.
Benjamin Luthi, Associate Writer:
I got a nice pile of games for Christmas, so I’ll be trying out a few of them, starting with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.
Jake Dekker, Associate Writer:
I think I’m going to Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor over the weekend. I got it when it first came out, but I didn’t really care much for it. Considering all the praise it has gotten this year I don’t think I gave it a fair chance.
Landon Luthi, Associate Writer:
I have been partaking in the holiday event for Grand Theft Auto V, and am saddened that a lot of people were not able to do so on the PS4 and XB1. I am going to continue my weekend with a plethora of Left 4 Dead 2 for PC, Arma 2 for PC, and Pokemon: Alpha Sapphire. I recently discovered a Survival mode fan-made add-on for Left 4 Dead 2 called ‘Helm’s Deep’, and it is exactly what you think it is. If you have Left 4 Dead 2 for PC, I would recommend checking it out.
Lucy Pallent, Associate Writer:
I’m currently replaying Shovel Knight so that will be taking up most of my time. However, because I have coursework to finish for Monday I’m not quite sure how long I’ll get to play.
Riley Berry, Associate Writer:
I have been working my way through my games I recieved for Christmas this week, and the only two I have left are Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair and Wolfenstein: The New Order. I have loved what I have played so far of both games.
Ryan Amirault, Associate Writer:
My updates are becoming very repetitive because this week all I have to say is that I’ll be playing more Destiny. That game has had be hooked since it’s release and it won’t let go. I am sure I’ll get in some GTA5 time as well, I am loving it. I also am plugging away at Resogun on Vita to get another platinum, though it’s harder on the small screen so it’ll be a tough challenge I think. Enjoy the first weekend of 2015 everyone! MONG! )
