Not even six months after the release of the original Five Nights at Freddy’s, the creator and developer of the series, Scott Cawthon, has revealed that Five Nights At Freddy’s 3 is in development.
If you happen to email Scott Games (fazbearhelp@yahoo.com) you will receive an auto-response saying:
“Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is in production! Please do not email me asking any questions about it; NO questions about FNaF3 will be read or answered!”
Also, there is a photo on the website with a .jpg file called fnaf3.
Considering that the first Five Nights at Freddy’s came out in August and its sequel, Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 came out in November, it’s safe to assume that the third game in the series will arrive between March and April.
My Opinion:
While it’s pretty normal to get the sequel into development after a game is successful, this is different because Scott Cawthon can develop these games and release them quickly. While he has made other smaller games in the past, I hope that he can end it with Five Nights At Freddy’s 3 and make a new game so he won’t risk being a one trick pony.
