CD Projekt RED has released a new trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that focuses on the world of the The Witcher.

In the trailer, we get an animated look at the setting of The Witcher and the events that have lead up to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The trailer, which was released via Xbox’s YouTube feed, can be viewed below.

After being recently being hit with another delay, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently slated to be released on May 19th and will be available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

My Opinion:

Admittedly, I have only played part way through the original Witcher, however I enjoyed what I played, and I’ve heard the sequel is even better. I have heard nothing but high praise for what people have seen and played of The Witcher 3, and am excited to jump in come May. I don’t know if it’ll be in the cards for me to have finished up its predecessors by then, so I appreciate the context and information the new trailer provides.
