A recent update to the listing of The Order: 1886 on the PlayStation Store has shed some light on the download size of the hotly anticipated upcoming exclusive.
The Order: 1886’s download size comes in at a slim 29.4 GB, which to give some perspective, is more than 10 GB less than recent AAA titles Assassin’s Creed Unity and Dragon Age: Inquisition. While this seems like a relatively small size for Sony’s upcoming third-person shooter, the use of in-game cutscenes is being attributed to keeping the overall file size down.
The Order: 1886 releases on February 20th exclusively for PlayStation 4.
I’ve been excited for The Order: 1886 ever since I saw the initial trailer for it. We’ve had to go through some delays, but it looks like the time for us to play it is almost here. With increasing number of people taking advantage of digital download, it’s nice to see an AAA title that won’t tax people’s available hard drive space too much. Let’s all hope that great things come in small packages!
