Yesterday, Sony and Spotify announced that they have reached an exclusive deal to have Spotify on PlayStation consoles and Xperia smartphones and tablets this Spring.
Whether you are a subscriber or a free member, you will be able to use Spotify on your system of choice. The best part is that you’ll be able to take playlists you have created and play them in any game you like. With Spotify coming to PlayStation, this also marks the end of Music Unlimited.
Spotify for PlayStation will arrive sometime this Spring and Sony has said that they will reveal more information as it gets closer to launch.
My Opinion:
I use Spotify quite a bit and I was pleased when I heard this, but when I found out that I can use Spotify while playing a game, I got excited. I ended up making a massive playlist for me to use as I drive or fly around in Grand Theft Auto V.
Everyone wants a free game. Want free game of your choice? Just enter here until February 9th for the chance to enter. IF you don’t want a game, you can also pick between a year long subscription to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold. Remember, you must come HERE to enter by February 9th.

Pretty cool. I don’t have a PS4/3 (but just got a Playstation TV), but I love Spotify. Here’s to hoping it’ll make its way to the Xbox One at some point, but I have a bluetooth soundbar, so I can just stream Spotify from my iPad to it if I choose.
