PlayStation 4 players who are getting The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will need at least 50 GB of storage to play it.
Several European PlayStation Stores released a number of new information about the game which showed its minimum storage requirements. It also showed other details: it supports only one player, it supports vibrations from the DualShock 4 and that it supports remote playback.
The size should not come as a huge surprise, given that the game is a massive open-world RPG, and it should have over a hundred hours of content.
The PC version of The Witcher 3 requires less hard drive space than the PS4 version as it needs a minimum of 40 GB, with the Xbox One version minimum storage requirements still to be confirmed.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases worldwide on May 19th for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.

My Opinion:
Welcome to next gen, where games are already over the “50 gigs” part. But, in all seriousness, this isn’t surprising. After all, The Witcher 3 is going to be a massive game, and with that, it’s of course going to need a large amount of hard drive space. Nonetheless, the amount of space it requires means nothing to me when I have the game in my hands, cause it will be worth it. I can’t wait for May 19th!

That’s actually not that large compared to other games of much smaller worlds, I am impressed!
