Octodad Coming to Wii U This Summer

The newest Wii U game announcement takes “family fun” to a new level… that is, if your family has an octopus in it.

According to the official Octodad Twitter account, the wacky indie title will be heading to Wii U this summer.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch was Young Horses’ indie-sweetheart that took PC and PlayStation consoles by storm. If you want a quick recap of why this is potentially the funniest game out there, check out MONG’s review where we said “$15 is easily worth a couple of hours of continuous smiling, mild and enjoyable frustration, and a theme song that will never leave your head.”

My Opinion:

This seems like a match made in heaven! The Wii U always focuses on being family oriented and Octodad fits the bill. My PC has been having some difficulty running it, so I will be grabbing this the moment it hits the eShop!

    1. The intentionally awful controls is the fun of it! It may be better as a multiplayer game as you watch your friends rage quit because they can’t pour a cup of coffee. lol

      1. I actually looked forward to playing Surgeon Simulator, because of how unaware I was that the controls are awful. Then I felt robbed and people said no that’s the fun of the game… then I asked what’s the fun the awful controls or the fact you can con people into buying an awful game? 🙂
